Invisalign

This is the ultimate appliance in the world of invisible, convenient orthodontic appliances.  Invisalign treatment involves using a series of clear removable appliances or aligners to straighten teeth without metal, wires or brackets.  A new aligner is fitted every two weeks or so, and is worn continually except for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing teeth. Treatment times vary according to the number of aligners needed but are typically 12-15 months.

Although understandably more convenient, Invisalign lacks some of the mechanical efficiency of a fixed appliance and is therefore not able to treat all types of malocclusion. Therefore, it's suitability to carry out a particular treatment can only be determined after an initial assessment.

Invisalign is only available as a Private treatment.  For more information on Invisalign, visit  www.invisalign.com , or click here for information on the costs of Invisalign treatment at Bristol Orthodontics.
