Fixed appliances

Fixed appliances are used to guide teeth more accurately into position. Brackets and bands are temporarily stuck to the teeth and wires, springs or elastics are used to exert the necessary forces.

Simple fixed appliances are attached to just a few teeth while fixed multiband appliances involve most or all teeth.
