Natalie qualified as a dental hygienist from Cardiff Dental School in 1997. 

She provides specific help and advice for orthodontic patients on caring for their teeth whilst wearing orthodontic appliances and to prevent any damage from dental plaque which is not removed by daily brushing.  She also removes any remaining orthodontic cement from the surfaces of the teeth after the removal of fixed braces.

We hope that Natalie's duties can be expanded, and for her job to become even more interesting as UK legislation relating to PCDs allows additional routines to be included. She currently works part-time at the Great George Street Centre
