Dr Hichens qualified as a dental surgeon from the University of Sheffield in 1998.  Prior to specialising in orthodontics, she worked in the general dental services for two years in Nottinghamshire.  This was followed by a further two years of training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics in the hospital dental services in Derby and Chesterfield.  She completed her formal three year post-graduate orthodontic training at the University of Bristol in 2005.

Lisa joined the Great George Street Orthodontic Practice in October 2005 where she is currently working 2½ days a week.
